A new forum is in the making! Starts December 2!

Nintendo 3DS Central! The NEW lounge for 3DS gamers!

This forum will be independently hosted, so we can make it as great as possible!

It won't be for a while though, I still need to add extensions, COPY ALL (Not all) THE IMPORTANT POSTS, other stuff... yay. 

It will be worth it though! It is not online at all yet, but it has been made, just getting it set up! Fun stuff...

The forums are all made, and important things are copied!

Now for smilies, extensions, groups, permissions, CUSTOM TEXT (UGH), anything else...

And finally... THE HOSTING!!! Once I find a good host and get it online, we are good to go! An announcement will be made, and a link will be provided!

It will be a few days before the forum is online, but look forward to it!

I have decided to delay the forum hosting indefinitely, because I need to figure out how it will work out...

The biggest factor is support and site promotion.

Because there are very few places (I know of none myself) where you can actively promote websites (which the lack of promotion support contributes to the overall failure of the forum), I cannot decide whether paying $12 a month, plus over $100 to buy a domain, only for it to gain no active members (Much like this one) is worth it...

Once I get an idea how webhosting actually works, what other forum owners recommend and think about it, and ways to actively promote the forums, I will host it!

Good news! I may be able to purchase a plan to host the new forum! If all works out, then the board (which over is a year old by the way!) will go up on December 2, the same day that this forum began 8 years ago on that day!

I want to get it public as soon as possible when December 2 comes, so the moment it is online, it will be public, but I will be adding everything (I am starting over, the old board I mentioned was corrupted due to a hard drive failure) so you will be seeing everything go crazy then! But I am excited! Are you?

Eh... I'm not massively in support of this.
With work heading to the other forum, whether you mean to or not, you'll end up prioritising one over the other, and I doubt it'll be this forum.
BUT... we'll s e e.

It will have more features than this one! This one will still be around too!

Since it will be hosted on a private domain and a web host, I will have full access to the database.

Things I can do there that cannot be done on this one includes, but does not limit to:
Add new styles
Add new languages and change existing ones (enabling custom messages)
Different ways to customize text for messages
Add new extensions, which adds more functionality to the forums
Have more storage than 20 megabytes, thus allowing users to upload their own files to the forums
Restrictions and rules imposed by Forumotion will no longer apply
And so much more!
